PSEB Opens Applications for Game Developers Conference 2017 in USA

The Game Developers Conference Conference (GDC) is the world’s largest professional game industry event, attracting thousands of attendees every year.

GDC 2017 will be held in San Francisco, next year, and any Pakistani companies looking to attend the conference can now apply through Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB).

What is Game Developers Conference?

The GDC is the primary forum for programmers, artists, producers, game designers, audio professionals, business decision-makers and others involved in the development of interactive games and virtual reality. It attracts over 27,000 attendees annually and features more than 500 lectures, panels, tutorials and round-table discussions.

It also features an annual Independent Games Festival, the longest-running and largest festival for independent games worldwide. Indie developers from all over the globe come together to showcase their games.

GDC 2017 will be held from the 27th of February and will last till the 3rd of March, 2017.

How to Apply?

The PSEB is a government-run institution and wants to sponsor businesses from Pakistan to show their expertise and skills at the global event. Any PSEB member company can apply for GDC 17 through their application form.

Here are the required traits:

  • Application forms with accurately provided information
  • Company profile with details of games developed, screenshots and number of downloads on different app stores, etc.
  • Objective statement and association Strategy to attain results from participation

The form should be accompanied by a Demand Draft of 250,000 Rupees in the name of PSEB. If your company is not selected, you will get a full refund.

The deadline for the application submission is 12th December.
