JumpStart Pakistan is bringing one of their prime initiatives, Change Pakistan Conference to Peshawar with several key partners like KPITB, TCKP, DoIT, Moftak Solutions, ProPakistani and several others. They call it CPC17. It is happening on Tuesday, 28th of March in Shiraz Arena located in Dean’s Trade Center in the beautiful city of Peshawar.
They are bringing along a panel of Shepherds who constitute some of the game changing names from the Pakistani entrepreneurial ecosystem. They will be watching over all the startup idea pitches to figure out who has the most potential and who should get how much in investment. This time, some of the shepherds are Mr. Khurram Mujtaba (CEO JumpStart Pakistan), Mr.Salman Farooq (Chairman Hons Group) and Mr. Abdul Khaliq (CEO Dean Techno) among others.
Speakers from a diverse pool of genres will be joining the conference and will be sharing their words in special Ted Style talk sessions. They will be sharing their information and experience on various fields of the entrepreneurial world nowadays like IoT, Virtual Reality, Big Data, and Tourism & Technology etc. Some of the names in this capacity are Mr. Imdad Khan (CEO HBK), Mr. Zaydan Khan (Actor, Motivator), Mr. Khurram Mujtaba (CEO JumpStart Pakistan) and Dr. Shahbaz (MD KPITB) among other likes.
10 startups from all over Pakistan have signed up to pitch their ideas in three dedicated pitching sessions where they will be showcasing their ideas in front of the Shepherds. The shepherds will then ask questions in order to evaluate potential. This year, the participating startups are Jeevan, Enzen, Macan.pk, Ashfittness.pk, Mav’s Artistic, Cabswiki, Peshawar Spices and Adscanyon.
Apart from the conference, the one thing that they have added to this year’s episode, is a Startup Expo. They have organized a 40 booth expo where startups from Academia, Industry, Incubators and Individuals will be exhibiting their startup ideas in real time, enabling all the attendees to come watch technology and entrepreneurship. 5 universities from Peshawar will be exhibiting some of their crown innovations in the expo.
