Change Pakistan Conference 2017 Concludes Successfully in Peshawar

After months of preparation and planning, Change Pakistan Conference 2017 Peshawar has been successfully conducted. Shiraz Arena was filled with over 500 people, more than 30 elite dignitaries, speakers, shepherds, panelists, honorary guests, several stalls and 9 startups.

What was CPC17?

All these people had gathered to witness how Pakistan can actually be changed through entrepreneurship. CPC17’s core purpose was to educate people on what we need to do in order to develop a more sustainable future for entrepreneurship in Pakistan. Upcoming entrepreneurs can learn how to solve Pakistan’s problems through their businesses.

Speakers

Keynote speeches by MD KPITB Dr Shahbaz Khan, Mr. Khurram Mujtaba CEO Jumpstart Pakistan, Motivational Speaker Mr. Zaydan Khan, Mr. Muhammad Arshad President Startup City Peshawar and many others like them made the conference a proper educational event.

Apart from that, 9 startups from different geographical locations of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa pitched their ideas to a panel of shepherds. Mohsin Electro Medical Generator and Anzen received 1st and 2nd positions, respectively, and will now take part in Islamabad’s SeedStars Regional Finale. 3rd place was secured by Mav’s Artistic Hena and Pekhawar Spices . Some of the startups also secured investment offers during the event.

The startups ideas included both, technical and non-technical, ones. Non-tech startups like “Peshawar Spices” and “Mav’s Artistic Hena” were unique and appreciable.

JumpStart Pakistan (JSP) said in a statement “We are happy to welcome both Anzen and Mohsin Electro Medical Generator to the next level and looks forward to seeing them in Islamabad in October 2017  Insha Allah.”

Now that CPC17 is done, JSP moves to further its plans. Next up, is the Shepherd’s Pie Rawalpindi. The next event will include a “10 Cities, 10 events” plan. Hopefully, they will execute it perfectly and grow even further in the coming years.

JumpStart Pakistan is proud to have received such a grand “jumpstart” to its 2017’s plans. It plans to bring back the Change Pakistan Conference next year; bigger, stronger and better than ever before.
