Are Selfies Your Muse? Try These Smartphones to Satisfy Your Addiction

Cameras are everywhere these days. From the laptop you work at to the smartphone you’re reading this on right now.

Of course they aren’t there just for show. People love sharing memories and special moments with each other, and what better way to capture it than with a selfie? Smartphones are something that you carry with you almost all the time which makes them, all the more fitting to capture that perfect snap.

The better the front camera is on your phone the better your selfies are. This doesn’t necessarily mean that a bigger number of megapixels gets you better photos, not at all. There is more to it than that.

To make it easier for you to choose, here’s a comparison of smartphones with top of the line front cameras.

OPPO F3 Plus

The F3 Plus has a 16 MP front camera in addition to another 8 MP shooter in a dual camera setup on the front. Its 120-degree wide-angle lens and dual selfie camera has been specially designed for group selfies, something which wasn’t possible before without the help of a selfie stick. Furthermore, it also offers true bokeh effect as well as built-in Smart Facial Recognition.

OPPO F3 Plus beats all the other smartphones in terms of megapixel count and overall quality of the front cameras.

Simply put, it is the companion you need if you live and breathe selfies.

Samsung Galaxy S8

Samsung recently released their latest flagship the Galaxy S8. The phone will be available in Pakistan in a few days. A flagship smartphone comes with the best cameras around. Not only does it have an 8 megapixel front camera but it is also one of the best looking phones that crushes all the others in performance, battery saving as well as more storage, meaning more photos for the selfie lovers.

Huawei P10

When it comes to cameras Huawei is up there with the likes of Samsung and Sony. The company recently partnered with the world famous optics maker Leica. Huawei P10 is a must for selfie lovers as it has an 8 MP Leica-made front camera.

Like the dual cameras on the back of the P10, the front camera can also manage to emulate the portrait mode’s bokeh effect which makes the selfies on the P10 look a lot better compared with other smartphones.

Sony Xperia XZ Premium

Despite being on the sidelines when it comes to its smartphone business, Sony’s cameras are some of the best ones around. The Xperia XZ Premium reflects that with its 13 MP front camera. Although the detail is better than on the Galaxy S8 or Huawei P10 it doesn’t do so well in low light conditions. It offers a front camera experience that rivals the best ones around.

Selfie lovers may have noticed there is no mention of the iPhone 7; this is because the F3 Plus has a camera lens and many other features (like the bokeh effect) which are the same as the iPhone 7, albeit at a comparatively lower price which makes it the better option.
