A month before the holy month of Ramzan, Daraz.pk initiated a charity campaign, allowing customers to donate online to any of the 5 NGOs listed on the website.
Saylani Welfare, Chhipa Welfare, Aman Foundation, Engro Foundation and Special Olympics were the NGO partners for the campaign on the leading online marketplace.
Daraz had listed three different Ramzan ration hampers on its website that customers could get delivered to their desired NGO.
The idea was to be a one-stop solution for all customer needs, including the giving of Zakat and also extending its online reach for the greater good.
Hundreds of customers donated online and Daraz surprised them all by making a big announcement at the end of the campaign.
For every hamper of Ramzan food ration donated, Daraz doubled the donation by contributing one of its own – doubling the deed, doubling the impact and doubling the number of beneficiaries.
