A grant of Rs. 323.586 million for the fiscal year 2017-18 with a Rs. 1.982 million surplus has been approved for the construction of University of Science and Technology at Abbottabad.
According to the details, the committee of Finance and Planning in its meeting in Islamabad recommended the upgradation of class-IV employees and computer operators from grade 12 to 16 and also approved 12 new vacancies of academic staff, M.Phil allowance for the faculty members besides reviewing free structure.
It further recommended to review the visiting faculty and increase their salary and also recommended to finalize the government and private sector hospitals for AUST employees for medical care. The Finance and Planning Committee also been approved to increase the daily allowances and salaries according to the fiscal budget of KP. The Committee members appreciated the Vice Chancellor AUST for improving the financial matters of the university and starting various projects.
