Samsung Announces a 6GB Variant of the Galaxy S8 Plus

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ need no introduction at all. Everyone knows how powerful and sleek they are, boasting top of the line specifications and excellent build quality.

As it turns out, Samsung and its consumers still wanted a bit more from the flagship so they have launched a limited edition beefed-up version of the S8+.

Samsung Galaxy S8+ Limited Edition

The new limited edition Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus will be made and sold only in Brazil, at least for now.

The only difference between this and the regular Galaxy S8+ that is already available in the market is that this limited edition model houses 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The internal storage doubles from the current S8+ and the RAM also sees a substantial increase from 4GB. However, if you still feel like 128GB is not enough, you also get a microSD card slot to expand your phone’s storage by up to 256GB.

These two major changes are the only ones that you will find in this limited edition of the S8+. Everything else remains the same.

Well, almost everything. The price sees a huge jump too. This limited edition Galaxy S8+ is priced at a hefty R$4,799 or approximately Rs. 161,054! That is not cheap by any means.

It is safe to say that only the most hardcore Samsung fans will be keeping an eye out for this one.
