On August 10th, 2017, the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) is organizing its 30th International Achievement Award ceremony in Istanbul, Turkey.
There are different categories of awards, which include:
- RCCI Premier Award,
- RCCI Platinum Award,
- Best Businessman of the Year Award,
- Best Businesswoman of the Year Award,
- RCCI Gold Award,
- RCCI Excellence Award.
Explaining the Awards Ceremony, RCCI President Raja Amer Iqbal said that the trade institutions and industrialists showing outstanding performance and helping strengthen the economy of the country will be awarded under the aforementioned categories.
He said that the basic purpose of organizing an International awards ceremony is to improve bilateral trade and to improve the soft image of Pakistan. This initiative is being taken to promote healthy competition and to improve trade activities.
“Last year RCCI successfully organized the event in Dubai and this year we are taking it to Istanbul.” Raja Amer added.
Chairman Achievement awards and former senior vice president, Saqib Rafiq, has said that the RCCI is aiming to promote the private sector and to reinforce foreign business ties and confidence of Pakistani businessmen.
He said that there will be B2B meetings on the sidelines of the ceremony, including a business opportunity conference and local chambers are showing interest in meeting with the Pakistani businessmen. Saqib Rafiq said that RCCI is very hopeful that with this initiative, our businessmen would have a chance to be a part of joint ventures in the future.
More than 1000 delegates from Pakistan will attend the ceremony and company heads from different sectors, including Pharmaceutical, Marble, gems and jewelry, poultry, information technology and auto mobile, will be participating in the event.
High ranking Government officials from Turkey and Pakistan and business dignitaries of both countries will be attending the ceremony as well.
