This Barber is Offering Free Haircuts for a Year for a Ticket to the World XI Match

Last night was historical. International cricket finally returned to Pakistan as the first match of Independence Cup T20 series was played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Ever since the attack on Sri Lankan team in 2009, Pakistan has been starved of international cricket since no top international team agreed to visit. The grim situation left all the Pakistani cricket fans in dismay.

When the recent series between the local heroes and international stars was announced, people went out of their way to book the tickets for the three-match series.

Even though the tickets were slightly expensive and were sold on first come first serve basis, the tickets were sold out within couple of hours.

Sadly, a barber from Bahawalpur who had came all the way to Lahore to witness the match in person had to face disappointment as well. Tickets were sold out and he was left high and dry.

But as fate would have it, the barber came up with an interesting idea that could help him see his favorite stars perform in person. His next move? To offer free haircuts to anyone for an entire year in exchange for a ticket for the next Independence Cup game!

He even put up a notice about this, hoping to snag a ticket off a cool customer:

We really hope that someone takes him up on his offer so he can witness history in the making and that this series leads to the revival of international cricket in Pakistan.
