Jazz Gets New Head of Marketing

Jazz has appointed Kazim Mujtaba as its new Head of Marketing, we have checked with sources.

According to details, Kazim will be assuming his new office immediately. Previously he had been working as Chief Strategy Officer at Jazz and played a key role in Warid integration.

According to our sources, Kazim will be reporting to Asif Aziz, the CCO of Jazz.

In his new role, Kazim will be leading pricing and segments, products and devices, VAS and brands.

Kazim will be replacing Farid Ahmed, who has been made the PMO (Project Management Office) to assist Aamir Ibrahim, the CEO of Jazz, in strategy development.

Farid Ahmed, who had worked with both Jazz (then Mobilink) and Warid, played a key role in streamlining the marketing operations of both the companies after merger.

Additionally, Niaz Brohi, the Chief Legal Officer at Jazz, has been given a new role to become the “Group Head of Legal for Veon’s Global Shared Services”.

Jazz will be looking for a new Chief Legal Officer to fill the slot.
