Meizu Launches Camera Focused Smartphones in Pakistan

We’re all too familiar with Chinese smartphones in Pakistan. The likes of Xiaomi and Huawei have been around for some time and are immensely popular in the local market.

Enter Meizu, another phone company originating from China that offers high quality smartphones for a competitive price.

The company has launched three different models for now and is planning to launch more in the future.

Meizu MX6

The MX6 is the higher end version of the Meizu phones and former flagship launched late last year. Unlike the previous two, Meizu MX6 runs on a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 processor with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. Unfortunately it doesn’t have a microSD card slot so you’ll have to make do with the 32 GB capacity.

It has a 5.5″ 1080p display with a curved 2.5D glass on top. There’s a 3,060 mAh battery unit with fast charging support.

Considering the price point, the phone’s camera would give strong competition to Mi A1 and Huawei Mate 10 Lite, both of which are among the best phones in this price range and offer great cameras.

Meizu MX6 will set you back Rs. 31,500.

Meizu M5

The M5 is an entry level phone with a 5.2 inch 720p IPS LCD display. It looks plain/generic from the front, with an iPhone like look (sans the rectangular home button). It features a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button (the mTouch key) and is powered by an octa-core processor. It comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of expandable storage (microSD card slot).

Meizu M3 Note

Next is the mid-range M3 Note. This phone is pretty old, it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Meizu’s Flyme OS.

It has a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) display with an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor. It has 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage (expandable via a microSD card slot). When the phone launched, it was a direct competitor to Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 3.

The M3 Note 3 runs on a 4,100 mAh battery.

Meizu M3 Note is priced at Rs. 19,500.
