Four Pakistani IT companies have been selected to represent Pakistan’s IT industry in the 19th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF).
China Hi-Tech Fair is held in Shenzhen from November 16 to 21 every year. CHTF is the largest and most influential technical exhibition in China. It is co-hosted by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce and other state Ministries.
China Hi-tech Fair 2017 has drawn more than 3,000 exhibitors from over 30 countries. Covering a total area of 120,000 square meters, it has 12 exhibition zones for hi-tech products. The annual China Hi-tech Fair, launched in 1999, is the largest and the most influential state-level international fair in science and technology in China.
This is Pakistan’s third consecutive participation in the IT fair. Pakistan’s government has been trying to pave their way into the top IT industry in the world. Various efforts have encouraged people to take part in IT competitions.
CHTF is an extremely important exhibition for Pakistan’s IT industry as China has favorable perception of Pakistan and it makes it feasible for Chinese to invest into IT companies in Pakistan. Pakistan is trying to become a favorable IT outsourcing market but the innovation should not be limited to this.
