Dry Weather to Prevail in Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore with Foggy Mornings

The first winter rain and snow was observed in various part of Pakistan last week. Thick concentration of smog decreased due to the rainfall in Punjab. With the decrease in temperature and cold air, dry weather conditions and fog are expected in most parts of the country.

In the last 24 hours no rainfall took place and the temperature was recorded at a lowest in various parts including Dir, Chitral where the night temperature recorded was below the sub-zero mark. Quetta and Kalat recorded minimum temperature at -2C and -7C.

Cold wave and fog were observed in various parts of the country. Dense fog was observed in Sialkot on Tuesday morning with the visibility dropping below 0.5 km. Fog was also observed on Tuesday morning in Bahawalpur and Sukkur whereas the morning skies were clear in various parts of Pakistan.

Similar weather is expected to prevail for the next 3 to 4 days with temperature dropping eventually leading to cold weather and fog in most parts of the country.

Light rainfall is expected by November 25th or 26th in the Northern Pakistan. Meanwhile the weather in Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi and Peshawar are expected to remain dry. Dry weather can cause sinus pain, cough and skin irritation.
