Saad Hamid, a digital evangelist who heads Skillsfirst and part of the 11-strong delegation from Pakistan, shared the summarized points from Jack Ma’s session at the WEF 2018.
Here they are:
For wisdom and success, build your EQ. If you don’t want to lose, build your IQ but if you want respect, develop LQ (L=Love)
In order of priority, your first responsibility is your customer, second to your employees and third to your stakeholders
Leadership is not about helping others, it’s about helping yourself.
No matter how smart you are, if you want to be successful, learn from other people’s mistakes.
What’s the difference between smart and wise?

Remember, the best product for your company is your employee.
Soft skills are the skills that computers can’t develop and these are the skills of the future.
Skills like:
Learn these skills as they will help you stay relevant in the future that is so digital.
We must teach our kids skills other than technology. Like liberal arts, sports, music, painting and art.
