Energizer’s New Smartphone Has a 16,000 mAh Battery

Energizer may not be a big name in the smartphone business but that isn’t stopping it from making its mark at the upcoming MWC next week.

Its new phone, the Power Max P16K Pro, will use Energizer’s prowess in the battery business, boasting a massive 16,000 mAh battery.

Large Phone?

Whether it supports fast-charging or not is yet to be confirmed. The size will likely be the largest we’ve ever seen on a smartphone, at least the largest one on MWC.

Energizer claims that the phone is “ultra slim”. You can expect it to be as razor thin as a 16,000 mAh phone can possibly be.

Display and Hardware

Also, the phone isn’t a complete dud in departments other than the battery, either. The display at the front is a large 5.99-inch panel with FHD+ (2160 x 1080) resolution and 2:1 aspect ratio for displaying more content.

Kudos to Energizer for following the current trends in the smartphone realm.

Under the hood, you get an octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 processor, with an impressive 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. The camera on the back comes with a dual-lens 13 + 5 MP setup, while on the front, you get an 8 MP shooter.

Battery Life and Price

The pricing and availability details are kept under the covers, but not for long. The phone will be unveiled this Sunday at the MWC, and we should know about those then.

The only thing which remains to be seen is whether battery life is even that much of a concern to a sizable number of people, and if the brand name is strong enough to entice them.

Expect more on this during the MWC.

  • No one ever says kudos for following a trend. Only in Pakistan is herd like behavior praised.

  • I am still waiting for charging-free mobile phones. Let’s get rid of this troublesome and annoying charging battery fashion now
