Uber has brought a few updates to its app to give the riders more control over their trips. Previously, the riders couldn’t let their emotions out until the trip ended. However, after this update, the commuters will be able to rate their drivers in the middle of the trip. You can now leave a complaint or suggestion at any point during the ride unlike before.
Apart from the mid-ride star rating, the ride-hailing giant will also provide additional comments specifying exactly what went bad.

Other Options
As you can see there are multiple options apart from the 4-star rating the screenshot above. Uber will use this data to make the whole rider experience better.
For example, if your feedback includes pickup issues, Uber will classify it as the pickup location error. The Uber team will then work on this data to make the pickup location feature better.
Uber’s Head of Rider Experience, Peter Deng, told:
Every day 15 million people take a ride on Uber. If you can capture incrementally more and better feedback . . . we’re going to use that feedback to make the service better.
The data from the riders’ feedback will be used to classify the drivers as well. Uber, in a blog post, said;
We’re going to be celebrating the drivers that provide really awesome service.
Uber didn’t specify exactly as to how they plan to “celebrate” the drivers.
The update hasn’t been released in Pakistan yet, stay tuned.
