We knew that it will be slightly bigger, and have better internals as seen on its TENAA listing. Now, we also have a release date – Xiaomi has just put up a poster on its official Weibo account that confirms some features and a launch date of 25th of June.
Take a look for yourself,
Firstly, the poster confirms that the upcoming midranger will indeed be called Redmi 6 Pro. Secondly, it will have a 19:9 aspect ratio as seen in the “scoreboard” above the goal – this number suggests a notched display so we can rest assured that it will look much like its siblings in terms of design.
It will have a larger footprint though, according to TENAA. Additionally, the number combinations on the football jerseys below actually mean that the Redmi 6 Pro is going to come with AI photography features (which have been inherently included within MIUI 10), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC, and a 4000 mAh battery.

Here’s how it looks like in TENAA’s listings,
The other details that have not been revealed in the poster include a screen resolution of 1080 x 2280 (FHD+), highly like to be an IPS LCD and the presence of a microSD slot.
Additionally, it will be available in several RAM and storage combos of 2/16 GB, 3/32 GB, and 4/64 GB. Surely, it will have AI photography features for better portrait mode and vibrant selfies, in addition to MIUI 10 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo.
It will launch soon, we will keep you posted about its details on its launch date. Here’s Xiaomi’s official Weibo post that confirmed Redmi 6 Pro’s launch date.
