Oppo has released one of its main mid-range phones in recent times, the A5, again this time as the A3s. International availability is still a question mark at this point.
The standout feature in the design of the A5 was the patterned back panel, though, it seems to have gone missing on the A3s. The display is a large 6.2” panel with a unique 19:9 ratio, though, with only 720p resolution.

Another important thing to note here is the lack of a fingerprint scanner on the A3s.
Under the hood, you get the new octa-core Snapdragon 450 processor, with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of expandable storage. Connectivity options include microUSB, LTE, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.
The dual-cameras at the back will be a big point in the A3s’ favor. There is a 13 MP sensor paired with a 2 MP sensor to create bokeh and other effects. The front 8 MP camera also comes with AI-focused options.
The battery is fairly large at 4230 mAh, though, it likely misses out on fast-charging.
Oppo A3s will be available in India for an attractive $160, though, it is not known whether it’ll be available in other markets.
