PIA Returns Man’s Lost Wallet with Rs. 1.2 Million in Cash

PIA has faced a lot of criticism in recent times and has been in the limelight for all the wrong reasons. However, recently, PIA showcased honesty and professionalism when they returned a wallet containing £7,500 (1.2 million Rupees) to a Lahori businessman.

According to PIA’s spokesperson Mashood Tajwar, a passenger named Zahid Sahkir boarded flight PK-757 from Lahore to London and forgot his wallet, which contained £7,500. A member of the PIA staff, Khalid Bashir, returned the amount to the passenger who was delighted and thankful.

The station manager said,

We made contact with the passenger and returned his cash to him. I personally returned his money. He was very thankful to the PIA staff for being honest.

We are glad that we were able to find the lost cash of our passenger. we often get mentioned negatively but it’s important to project that our staff is honest and work hard.

Shakir, who hails from Lahore and is a businessman, was traveling on a work trip to London. He said:

I am grateful to the PIA staff for returning the cash to me.

It’s nice to see PIA setting a positive precedent at a time when there’s nothing but negativity surrounding the airline.
