After announcing the new One Power smartphone last week, Motorola is back with a similar version of the phone which doesn’t come with stock Android and will be available only in China for starters.
The new Motorola P30 Note comes with a large display and a sizable battery which positions it as a competitor against Xiaomi’s Mi Max series, also famous for the same features.
The display is a large 6″ IPS LCD panel, coming with an unconventional 18.7:9 aspect ratio and a notch. The resolution remains at Full HD+ (2246 x 1080).
Under the hood, you get the mid-range Snapdragon 636 processor, with either 4 or 6 GB RAM as well as 64 GB of expandable storage.
For connectivity, there’s USB-C, Wi-Fi and optional Dual-SIM support.
The back comes with a 16 MP (f/1.8) + 5 MP (f/2.2) dual camera setup, with a single LED Flash.
The front comes with a 12 MP shooter with a few AI Beauty features.
The battery is a large 5000 mAh unit, which is likely to have fast charging, given the huge battery capacity.
Pricing starts at nearly $300 for 4 GB or around $340 for 6 GB of storage. It is already up on sale in China.
