Pakistan’s Arslan “Arslan Ash” Siddique won the Tekken 8 tournament at Evo 2026 in Las Vegas, securing the eighth Evo title of his career and earning $28,000, equivalent to Rs. 7.8 million.
He defeated South Korea’s Rangchu in the grand final to finish first in a tournament featuring 1,355 players.
Arslan used a defensive approach against Rangchu and adjusted to his opponent’s pressure and wall positioning.
He repeatedly read Rangchu’s attacking patterns and closed out the set to claim the title.
The victory earned Arslan 40% of the tournament prize pool, 800 Tekken World Tour points, and qualification for the TWT Finals 2026.
He represented Twisted Minds and used Nina and Kunimitsu during the tournament.
Pakistan also had a second player among the top six, with Qasim Meer finishing sixth. Meer earned $4,200, equivalent to around Rs. 1.1 million, and received 220 points.
His finish also secured qualification for the Esports World Cup 2026.

Arslan recorded the strongest result among the Pakistani players, while Meer’s sixth-place finish gave Pakistan two representatives in the tournament’s top six.
