Razer is unveiling a new trio of gaming products aimed at the eSports market. Sitting within its Kraken lineup, the new keyboard, mouse and headset feature high-end features and looks you’ve come to expect from the gaming company.
Razer BlackWidow Elite keyboard
The first product is the new BlackWidow Elite, which sits in Razer’s ever-expanding keyboard lineup. It comes with custom mechanical switches, which are available in green, orange and yellow, and 16.8 million color custom RGB back-lighting,
The keyboard can now store up to five gaming profiles locally, rather than forcing users to use the cloud. There are added media keys as well as a digital dial which can control either volume or light.
There’s support for 10-key rollover, while the lifespan is 80 million hits. There’s a USB 2.0 and an audio outlet on the side. Finally, the elephant in the room is the massive wrist rest.
Pricing is set at $170 for the BlackWidow Elite.
Razer Mamba Wireless mouse
Next in line is the new Mamba Wireless, which comes with adaptive frequency and an enormous 50-hour battery life. Its lifespan is said to be at least 50 million clicks.
On the face of it, there are seven keys, which are all programmable. Up to 16,000 DPI is supported, with an accuracy of 99.4%. The custom 16.8 million RGB backlight finds its way here.
Razer is including local profiles of up to 5 players in the Mamba wireless as well. Pricing is set at $100.
Razer Kraken Tournament Edition headset
Finally, arguably the star of the lineup is the new Kraken Tournament Edition headset, which is the world’s first gaming headset to come with THX Spatial Audio, which can be crucial in eSports.
There’s support for better customization via a USB controller, allowing custom mixes to choose between gaming and team chatting, in addition to the trusty 3.5mm jack.
An improved microphone is on board, with improved padding to sustain longer periods of play. The cable length is set at 2m.
Its pricing has been set at $99, which makes it quite an attractive offering.
