The federal government has decided not to change petroleum product prices to close the 2025-26 fiscal year.
Petrol will stay at Rs. 299 per litre while diesel will remain at Rs. 311 per litre to close June.
An official notification by the Petroleum Division was shared shortly after this update to confirm the new rates.
The old rates will remain in effect for one more week.
Last week, the prices of petrol were reduced by Rs. 74 per litre and diesel by Rs. 67/litre.
On June 19, petrol was set at Rs. 299 per litre, while diesel was reduced to Rs. 311 per litre.

Keeping Pakistani people’s purchasing power (halal earnings) in view, the price should be fixed to Rs 150/Litre. This price will automatically bring down the prices of all items depending on petrol / diesel prices. This will help most of the people to run their kitchen and people will be in position to use the public transport if they (Transporters are forced to bring down the fares
