Sportsfever360 Joins Hands With Pakistan School Sports Federation

The Pakistan School Sports Federation (PSSF) is a national governing body for school-level sporting activities with its headquarters in Lahore, Pakistan. Founded in 2017, it is registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI, 1860.

With an ardent team of founders who have represented Pakistan internationally in various sports including cricket and hockey, PSSF has a passion for developing the sports sector within the country.

PSSF aims to harness the power of sports and the values that it instills (teamwork, volunteering, peace, non-discrimination and social inclusion, health & wellness, and gender equality, etc.) among young people aged between 10-17 years.

PSSF pursues its goals independently from political, religious, racial or socio-economic considerations and firmly believes that sports are the best platform to break all such barriers and vitalize harmony.

  • PSSF’s mission is to promote sports locally and empower youth from all backgrounds to represent Pakistan on global platforms internationally.
  • The federation aims to have a pool of talent ready at the grass-roots level so that it can be polished and trained to bring awards home on bigger platforms later on.
  • PSSF is responsible for organizing national championships for schools locally and hosting international events in collaboration with federations across the globe.
  • The federation not only aims to encourage athletes and players but also to instill a culture of promoting sports as a profession (sports management, sports marketing, sports psychology, biomechanics, etc.) and conducting awareness campaigns around it.

PSSF is affiliated with The International School Sports Federation (ISF) which is the international central body for school sport. Founded in 1972, the federation has been organizing international competitions to encourage education through sport. It has 113 members from six continents. ISF is recognized by the International Olympic Committee since 1995 and is a member of SportAccord. Its headquarters are based in Brussels, Belgium.

Sportsfever360 has a vision of developing and contributing towards an enhanced sports infrastructure in Pakistan along with creating a new pool of opportunities for the emerging players of our country and bridge the gap between corporations and sportsmen by creating a conducive environment.

This vision is fully aligned with PSSF’s mission i.e. to promote sports locally and empower the voice of youth. Together with shared ambitions, the two aim to forge a brighter future for talented Pakistanis by helping them overcome obstacles.

Working towards this cause, Sportsfever360 will now be expanding the vision of PSSF on the digital forefront as well as allowing the federation to reach a greater number of prospective players. Their YouTube channel and the official Facebook page will be the central channels through which players shall access a vast amount of information and will be exposed to a plethora of opportunities in the world of sports.

Sportsfever360’s reach now expands from the remotest locations of Pakistan to the urban hubs of the country thus through their platform PSSF will reach millions of such voices which have been left unheard. Alongside extensive coverage of all PSSF events will be done by Sportsfever360’s team and shall be shared on all forums garnering a larger audience base and response for the federation.

Previously Sportsfever360 have successfully executed digital campaigns of multiple organizations including Global Zalmi League, WheelChair cricket tournament, Rawalpindi Amateur Cup and Madrassa League.
