Telenor Posts its Highest Ever Revenues During Q3 2018

Telenor Pakistan has reported its highest ever revenue of Rs. 30 billion during the third quarter of 2018, up by 11.5% from Rs. 26.89 billion during the same period last year.

The company said that revenue growth and strong profitability was achieved mainly due to an increase in subscriptions, and traffic revenues that grew by 10% during the reported period, as compared to same duration last year.

Telenor Pakistan said that this increase in traffic revenues is due to the removal of taxes in the country.

Telenor’s average revenue per user stood at Rs. 216 during the period, which is the company’s best during recent years.

Telenor said that its subscribers decreased during Q3 and that the company’s total subscriptions reached 42.9 million, which is 6% higher than at the end of the third quarter last year.

Reported EBITDA margin was 77%. When adjusted for reversals, the underlying margin was 54%.

Telenor said that it continued to invest in its network for the expansion of 4G footprint and IT infrastructure during the quarter.
