Zong Set to Further Expand its 4G Network

After reaching the prolific milestone of being the first telecom company with 10,000 operational 4G sites across the country, Zong 4G, is aggressively eyeing to roll out additional 2,000 4G cell sites by the end of 2019.

Recently, the telecom company’s subscriber base in the 4G market has grown to more than 8 million, implying that maximum customers in maximum strength will be benefitting from Zong 4G’s unrivaled 4G technology coupled with widest and massive network outreach.

“For Zong 4G, customers are the first and foremost priority. Our resolve is to keep doing the best to serve our valued subscribers. We are rolling out a fast network expansion plan to increase our 4G sites so our customers can feel empowered with seamless connectivity across Pakistan,” the company spokesperson said.

Jazz 4G is on 15 MHz and Zong 4G is on 20 MHz now in big cities and 15 MHz at other places. Jazz already not using Warid’s spectrum. They have bought their own 10 MHz 4G and reformed their previous 5 MHz for 4G as well. Their 2G is on 900 MHz
