A Saudi aircraft nearly escaped an accident when one of its tires burst during the landing at New Islamabad Airport.
The incident occurred on Thursday night when the right-side tire of the Saudi Arabian Airline’s flight SV-370 from Jeddah burst while trying to land, causing the plane to tilt towards its side.
It was fortunate that the pilot showed presence of mind and saved the plane from turning over.
All the passengers onboard remained unhurt as the plane completed the landing safely, however, the aircraft has been barred from taking off until the repair.
