Amid speculations of turning Friday into a weekly holiday instead of Sunday, Information Minister, Fawad Chaudhary has rejected the rumors being circulated over different WhatsApp groups and social media platforms.
The Federal Minister took to Twitter to address the issue which had been gaining quite a lot of hype in the past few days. He said:
No change in weekly holiday calendar is under consideration, all such rumors regarding change in this regard are baseless.

Earlier, there were reports of declaring Friday as a weekly holiday with Thursday as a half day to boost trade ties with Arab countries.
The rumors have now been laid to rest by the minister.
