Pakistan is likely to witness yet another spell of rain, especially in Balochistan and Sindh.
Widespread rain is expected in most parts of the country on Saturday and it will continue till Sunday, according to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
Met Office’s prediction for Saturday says:
Widespread rain-thunderstorm (with few moderate to isolated heavy falls & snowfall over the hills) associated with windstorm is expected in Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab, Islamabad, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, at scattered places in South Punjab and Sindh.
Below is the precipitation forecast for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The upcoming spell is attributed to a strong rain-bearing system which will hit the Southern parts of the country on Friday and it is expected to continue till Monday in the upper parts.
