Punjab government has decided to roll out an ‘e-tendering’ system for public contracts to ensure transparency and eradicate corruption.
Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has approved the proposal of e-tendering. He said that the e-tendering system will be launched soon for all government departments.

The CM also said that the e-tendering system will be introduced in stages and will be completely implemented from the new financial year.
All government departments will be required to issue notices for tenders invitation through this system in the next fiscal year 2019-20.
