AB de Villiers & Kuldeep Yadav Name Pakistan as World Cup Favorites

The South African legend AB de Villiers and India’s spinner Kuldeep Yadav have named Pakistan in their list of teams to watch out for in the upcoming World Cup.

Pakistan cricket team, which still seeking perfect balance in their side for the World Cup, is not being taken lightly by the oppositions.

Speaking to international sports media outlet, AB de Villiers said:

India & England are looking strong whereas Australia has won five World Cups already. I would also add Pakistan to the list of favorites because they claimed ICC Champions Trophy back in 2017 in England as well. These four teams are probably favorites to win.

Mr. 360 further added that his home country has a number of match winners too but was hesitant in naming them as favorites for the competition.

Kuldeep Yadav, who has slowly become an integral part of the India’s one-day international team, also named Pakistan as likely candidates to win the tournament.

We definitely have the chance to bring the World Cup home. Apart from us I think all the other teams are really strong. But I feel England has a strong batting lineup as compared to the other teams. They will be playing in home conditions.

I think Pakistan will also perform well in the World Cup looking at the way they have been performing. So I think England and Pakistan will be the ones to watch out for.
