World’s Biggest Book Sale is Coming to Pakistan

The world’s biggest book sale, the Big Bad Wolf Sale, is finally coming to Lahore this weekend. The 24-hour a day sale will start on Friday, April 19 at the Expo Centre of the provincial capital where more than a million books will be put on sale at discounted prices.

The event will be the first time that Pakistanis get to experience a 24-hour book sale which will last for ten days until April 29.

The founder of the Big Bad Wolf Sale, Andrew Yap, was excited to come to Lahore with the mega sale. “The book sale aims to promote a culture of reading through affordable brand new books,” he said.

Yap added that there is a clear demand for such books in the region and they strive to make them accessible.

The event has proved to be a big success in the regional countries like Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippine, and Thailand and attracts hundreds of thousands of book lovers, occasional readers, students, and families.

Readers may find their favorite books on various topics on discounted prices. The sale includes bestsellers, fiction, romance, crime, thriller, non-fiction, novels, business and art books.

So, the book lovers should mark their calendars and get ready for the most significant book fair in the country’s history.
