Junoon Has Finally Released World Cup Anthem for Pakistan

Those who were wondering whether we will get to listen to a patriotic anthem for Cricket World Cup are in for a treat. Junoon – yes the same band that used to give us goosebumps with their magical songs – has finally reunited after 15 years to release World Cup song for Pakistan cricket team.

The lead vocalist, Ali Azmat took to Facebook to share the anthem with cricket fanatics.

The wait is finally over and 15 years later we have re-united for this Sooper Anthem to support the Pakistan Cricket Team. This song is also dedicated to the diverse cultures of our beautiful country Pakistan!

The song comes with an underlying message of diversity and unity among Pakistanis.

Here’s the much-hyped song:

Aa choo lain aasman

Aa badlain ye jahan

The iconic voice of Ali Azmat gives us a major throwback of the band’s golden days. I’m sure you are going to feel the vibes once you listen to the anthem.

Let us know your thoughts on the comeback song of Junoon in the comments section.

    • I had to comment. Let others alone Bhai. Uski aakhrat, uska masla. Aap to aise bol rahe hain k aapko jannat to mil hi jaegi ye baaki log to gaye. Isi choti soch ki wajah se hamara mulk taraqqi nhn kar raha. Be liberal, practice religion, don’t impose. Kiya pata Allah aapse naraaz ho aur Junoon k saare band se raazi ? Just saying!
