Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has rescheduled the arrival and departure of its flights from Sialkot Airport on a temporary basis.
According to a press release, the national airline has made this decision because of runway repairs from June 24 to July 3, 2019 at Sialkot airport. The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued a notice to airmen (NOTAM) in this regard.
Flight PK 720 for June 30 for the sector Barcelona-Sialkot will operate as Barcelona-Islamabad. whereas, flight PK 769 will operate as Islamabad-Paris. Moreover, all other flights to and from Sialkot airport have been temporarily rerouted to Lahore until the airport’s runway opens up.
PIA spokesperson has said that the passengers have been informed about the change in their scheduled departures and arrivals on their contact numbers. Those who did not provide any contact information at the time of booking have been asked to contact the PIA call center at 11786786 for their rescheduled flights.
