Xiaomi Introduces T-Series Mechanical Watch With a Fully Transparent Body

Last year, Xiaomi crowdfunded a sleek CIGA designed mechanical watch. It turned out to be very popular, perhaps because of the affordable pricing and elegant design.

The Chinese tech giant has now unveiled a new model of the watch, dubbed the T-series CIGA Design mechanical watch. It features a fully transparent round body exposing all the mechanical components inside the watch.

Unlike smartwatches, the T series CIGA design mechanical watch doesn’t come with any fitness tracking or notifications features. It is a purely mechanical watch with a focus on premium aesthetics and good craftsmanship. The watch features a 360-degree view of the innards and all of its working parts.

The T-Series CIGA Design mechanical watch costs $72 during the ongoing crowdfunding. However, once it’s out of crowdfunding, the watch will retail for $101. The campaign is now open on Xiaomi Mall with options of a black and a red watch band.
