Utility Stores Corporation (USC) has announced a reduction in prices of essential edible items including ghee, oil, and spices for Eid-al-Adha.
The decision was taken after the top national/multinational companies restored the supply of basic food items at the Utility Stores. USC has stated that the subsidized food items are now available in stores across the country.
According to sources, the Eid package sale will start on August 5 and will run on all three days of the Eid.
The prices of oil and ghee will be reduced by 5 to 10 percent, prices of 400-gram macaroni will be down by Rs. 7 while branded spices will also be available on subsidized rates.
A 50-gram Biryani spice packet will be discounted by Rs. 3, a 50-gram packet of garam masala by Rs. 4, Chapli Kabab spices by Rs. 2, Nihari and Paye spices by Rs. 3.
It should be noted that the sale will end on the third day of Eid.
