Pakistan Post Rest Houses Successfully Attract a Bulk of Tourists

The rest houses run by Pakistan Post in Punjab and the northern areas have attracted a bulk of tourists from all across the country.

The reason behind the massive influx of tourists is the provision of quality services to the general public at an affordable price.

An official source said that with the vacation season nearing its end, more and more people want to visit the tourist spots in upper Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Due to this, a large number of tourists booked the rest houses, especially in the northern hilly areas.

The source mentioned that the postal department had opened around 40 rest houses in May at different destinations across the country to attract domestic and foreign tourists.

Even though these rest houses were of old construction and were not in their best shape, the public wants to rent them out because we are offering reasonable prices.

As per the official, per day rent of the rest houses in, Murree GPO, Chitral, Abbottabad, Ayubia, Kohat, Muzaffarabad, Mirpur, Kotli, Gilgit, Sust, and Skardu is Rs. 2,200.

Similarly, the rest houses in Pindi Point Murree, Saidu Sharif, Bannu, and Ziarat are available for Rs. 1,200 per day.
