Just after the launch of Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro in India, the company’s CMO in China has teased a new gaming-oriented phone series. The same news was also teased by Realme India’s CEO Madhav Sheth but in a different way.

Sheth hinted at the release of a smartphone called ‘Realme XT’ which is expected to launch at the end of September or in the first week of October. For reference’s sake, Realme launched the Realme X and X Lite (rebranded Realme 3 Pro) earlier this year.

The smartphone will feature a 64 MP camera which is why the company’s CMO said that the smartphone will be able to take better pictures.

Considering how popular gaming phones are these days, this new smartphone series is Realme’s attempt at hopping on the bandwagon. Based on rumors, the smartphone might feature the recently launched MediaTek Helio G90 or G90T chipset.

Apart from this, the company is also considering launching the Realme 5 and 5 Pro in China, but we are waiting for a proper announcement.
