Samsung Teases 6000 mAh Battery for Galaxy M20s

Samsung Galaxy M20, known for its massive battery, might be getting a successor with an even larger battery. Rumors about a Samsung phone with a 6000 (!) mAh battery were making rounds on the internet and now Samsung has confirmed it in a new teaser:

We’ve seen quite a few devices featuring 5,000mAh batteries e.g. the Nubia Red Magic 3 and the Asus ZenFone 6, but a 6,000 mAh battery goes beyond that.

Moreover, some images of the alleged 6,000 mAh battery also surfaced on the internet revealing the product code of the battery.

The product code is EB-BM207ABY in which the M207” part of the code likely refers to the SM-M207, which is speculated be the upcoming Galaxy M20S. Also, the image shows that the battery is not as large as we expected it to be, but it is thicker than usual.

Other rumors suggest that this smartphone could be the M30s and not the M20s, time will tell which one it really is. Samsung will definitely need some sort of fast charging tech on this phone as it’ll take a very long time to charge up a 6,000 mAh battery on regular charging speeds.
