Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced that Pakistan, Turkey, and Malaysia will jointly start an English language channel dedicated to confronting Islamophobia.
This was announced by Prime Minister Imran Khan in a tweet today.
The decision was announced after a trilateral meeting between Prime Minister Imran Khan, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Malaysian PM Mahathir Mohamad on the sidelines of the 74th UNGA session being held in New York.
Under the joint venture, series and films would be produced so that the Muslims and the world can be educated on Islamic history, he said. The channel aims to set the record straight about Islam.
PM Khan called for effective measures to counter hate speech and Islamophobia, stressing upon the importance of addressing both the causes and consequences of these phenomena
Misperceptions which bring people together against Muslims would be corrected; issue of blasphemy would be properly contextualized; series & films would be produced on Muslim history to educate/inform our own people & the world; Muslims would be given a dedicated media presence.

But islam doesn’t allow displaying pictures of living creatures. Will the channel be audio only?
This right here is precisely why such a channel is needed.
Exactly what you said has to be addressed, Islamophobia.
Han lakin ye channel hari patti aur shia katmal aur qadiani ke asliyat dekhaye ga dunya ko? kiyon ke Islam mein toh koi firqa hai nai.
