PIA’s maintenance department said that they are now capable of indigenously fixing large planes with a maximum take-off weight of 570 kgs. The upgrade capability will not only reduce the grounding time of an aircraft but will also save millions of dollars in optimization cost.

The maintenance facility will now be utilized at the flying training academies and PIA Benazir Bhutto Flight Academy.
