Sony Permanently Discounts PS Now & Offers up to 50% Off on Hit Games

Sony is putting some of its most noteworthy Playstation games on sale as part of its newest “Games of a Generation” sale, with deals of up to 50% off.

The gaming giant is putting over a 100 hit PS4 games on sale with decent discounts. The sale highlights some of the most legendary games, including Red Dead Redemption 2, Marvel’s Spiderman: Game of the Year Edition, Unchartered the Nathan Drake Collection, Bloodborne, Skyrim, Crash Bandicoot, and many more.

It is a good opportunity to grab popular titles you may have missed out on, but note that while RDR is off $24, Marvel’s Spiderman, for example, is only a few dollars off its original price.

Here are some of the notable offers:

Title  Sale  Original
Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy $27.5 $56
Battlefield 1 $8 $20
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition $20 $50
Red Dead Redemption 2 $48 $80
Call of Duty Black Ops 4 $19.8 $60
Life is Strange 2 Complete Season $30 $50
Kingdom Hearts All-In-One Package $80 $133
Overwatch Legendary Edition $20 $60

You can view the full list of Games of a Generation deals here. The sale will last until October 15.

PS Now Price Cut

Additionally, Sony is also slashing the Playstation Now subscription for a competitive edge. The monthly payment for PS Now has dropped from $20 to $10, which is the same price as its competitors, namely the Xbox Game Pass and Google’s Stadia Pro.

The change is going into effect immediately, and current subscribers should see a change from this month onwards.

Better yet, Sony is also adding four of its biggest hits to its rotating library. These include God of War, Uncharted 4: A thief’s end, Infamous Second Son, and Grand Theft Auto V. All 4 titles will be available until January 2, 2020.
