Islamabad Administration to Launch ‘Durust Daam’ App to Control Prices

The fluctuating economic situation in the country and clamp down on tax evaders by the government has given the local traders and shopkeepers plenty of reasons to sell commodities at increased prices.

You might have heard the word ‘tabdeeli’ while shopping, no matter whether you are purchasing fruits, vegetables or any other item.

To counter illegal profiteering by shopkeepers in Islamabad, the local administration has partnered with the National Information Technology Board.

A mobile app ‘Durust Daam’ will be rolled out for citizens in Islamabad which will offer updated prices for essential commodities like poultry, vegetables, fruits, and other items. Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Hamza Shafqaat made the announcement on Facebook. on Thursday.
