Huawei Teases Nova 5z With Quad-Cameras and Punch Hole Display

The Huawei Nova 5 series arrived in June this year and introduced phones with decent specifications across the board. The series includes the base Nova 5 with mid-range specifications, going all the way up to the Kirin 980 powered Nova 5 Pro flagship.

Huawei has now posted a teaser online suggesting another phone in the series called Nova 5z.

The teaser only reveals a few specifications and shows a design similar to the Nova 5i Pro. The display comes with a punch-hole at the top left corner for the 32MP selfie camera. The rest of the display is almost all-screen with the exception of the bottom bezel being slightly thicker compared to the rest.

The back features a quad-camera setup with a 48MP main lens in a square-shaped layout. There is an LED flash next to it and a fingerprint scanner directly underneath. Huawei’s brand logo can be seen near the bottom as well.

The front and rear cameras will support night mode as well.

The only specifications mentioned here suggest that the Nova 5z is going to be another mid-range device. It will be powered by the 7nm Kirin 810 chipset.

There is no word on a release date yet, but it should be right around the corner.
