FAW Increases the Prices for Its Cars Up to Rs. 90,000

Al-Haj FAW Motors has increased the prices of its vehicles by up to Rs. 95,000. This is the second hike from the company in the past four months.

A notification in this regard was issued on Monday, which showed the increment ranging from Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 95,000 on different vehicles.

The new rates will be applicable with immediate effect. The company did not provide any justification for the revision of prices.

Given below is the updated price list of FAW vehicles:

 

After the implication of the notification, FAW’s V2 will now cost Rs.1.574 million, X-PV (standard) will be available for Rs. 1.209 million, while the AC variant will cost Rs. 1.27 million.

Similarly, FAW Carrier (standard variant) is now available for Rs. 1.74 million, whereas flatbed goes for Rs. 1.64 million and deckles for Rs. 1.54 million. The Carrier’s EPS variant and the one with 9 ft deck cost Rs. 1.09 million.

Note that United has already jacked up the price for its Bravo while Pak Suzuki has also revised the prices for its hot-selling Alto 660cc.

Honda and Toyota, on the other hand, feeling the heat of the market saturation and have reduced production due to low demand. It remains to be seen whether these companies will revise their vehicle prices as well.
