Misbah-ul-Haq’s multiple roles with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have been challenged in the Lahore High Court (LHC).
According to the petition, Misbah-ul-Haq shouldn’t be allowed to continue working with the PCB, terming him ineligible for the positions.
The former Pakistan captain was appointed the Head Coach and Chief Selector and his first assignment was the series against Sri Lanka.
The court has issued a notice to the PCB, asking the cricket’s governing body to explain its decision to appoint Misbah in multiple positions. PCB will have to submit its response to explain the matter in the Lahore High Court.
The criticism on the 45-year-old has grown since the 3-0 drubbing at the hands of Sri Lanka which was ultimately blamed on Sarfaraz who was sacked as the captain of Pakistan cricket team.

PCB should appoint a full Selection Committee and let Misbah focus on coaching. Misbah should change his slow to modern and fast cricket with new young talent.
