PIA Reschedules Several Flights Due to Bad Weather

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) was forced to reschedule several domestic and international flights due to widespread rain and foggy weather in various parts of the country.

A number of PIA flights due on Monday were also rescheduled for Tuesday (today) due to unfavorable weather in several cities including Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, and Sialkot.

As per reports, the return flights between Islamabad and Madina, namely PK-713 and 714 – were delayed by several hours. Similarly, PK-759 and PK-760 between Lahore and Jeddah were also delayed by at least three hours.

Moreover, the Jeddah-bound flight from Sialkot, PK-745, was delayed by six hours while the flight to Madina from Multan, PK-715, flew two-and-a-half-hours late. The return flight was also delayed by two hours.

As per PIA’s spokesperson Mashood Tajwar, heavy fog and scattered rain in parts of Punjab affected the airline’s flight schedule, which came back to normal after improved visibility.
