The Toyota Indus Motor Company has introduced a new variant of its popular SUV named Fortuner G 2.7-litre.
According to the information available, the variant is fitted with a 2.7-liter engine coupled with 6-speed sequential transmission with paddle shifters. The Fortuner G is valued at a marginally less price as compared to the other variants currently available in the market.
You can see the prices of all the variants below:
|Fortuner G 2.7-litre||Rs. 7,299,000|
|Fortuner 2.7 VVTi (Petrol)||Rs. 7,999,000|
|Fortuner 2.8 Sigma 4 (Diesel)||Rs. 8,649,000|
It is pertinent to point out that these are ex-factory prices and both the older versions of Fortuner come only in automatic transmission.
The Fortuner G has been dubbed as the Urban Icon and is fitted with multiple features such as smart-entry with push start, dual air-conditioning and other standard features such as airbags.
The Fortuner G is the base variant of the lineup and that is why some more premium features have been removed as compared to the other variants and is understandably marginally cheaper. You can see the differences between the existing 2.7-litre VVTi variant and the new one in the table below:
