State Bank of Pakistan to Announce the Monetary Policy on January 28th

The State Bank of Pakistan is set to announce the Monetary Policy on January 28th, 2020.

According to the details, Governor State Bank of Pakistan, Dr. Reza Baqir, will announce the decision of the MPC at a press conference on the same day.

Pakistan has left the rate unchanged in the past two meetings.

The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) had decided to leave the policy rate unchanged at 13.25%.

The last change in policy rate was announced in July 2019, when the committee increased the rate by 100 basis points to 13.25 percent.
