Here Are Routes to Avoid During Pak-Ban T20I Series in Lahore

The Lahore police have issued a traffic plan for the upcoming T20I series between Pakistan and Bangladesh.

According to the source, the traffic plan will come into effect from Wednesday (today) till the 27th of January.

The Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Zulfiqar Hameed, during a press conference, said that there will be 10,000 police personnel to be deployed during the matches.

The routes which will be used by the Bangladesh team will be sealed, which includes their transit from the airport to the hotel and then to Gadaffi Stadium.

Roads from Ichhra to Kalma Chowk and Hail Road and Hussain Chowk will remain closed.

Zulfiqar also mentioned that snipers will be deployed in the buildings surrounding the stadium whereas police will be monitoring the stadium and its surroundings through CCTV cameras.

In addition to that, traffic from Kasur to Chobarji will be diverted onto Lahore Bridge via PECO Road and Walton Road.

The matches will be played on January 24, 25 and 27.
